The Photograph’s Story:
This digital photograph was taken on a trip to Michigan in June of 2023. This is a stormy sunset on Lake Superior in Ontonagon, Michigan. It was storming hard and I thought the night was lost, but the rain stoped and the sunset broke through and I ran outside to grab this pic! I used a tripod and a really long shutter speed of 20 seconds to get to dreamy look of the water. The oddest thing if you’ve never been this far north is that the sun sets around 10:30pm.
