The Photograph’s Story:
This digital photograph was taken on a trip to Michigan in June of 2023. This is one taken of Marquette Harbor Lighthouse, on the shore of Lake Superior in Marquette, Michigan. This was the most perfect morning, a cool 55 or so degrees in late June. The sky and water were so calm and absolutely beautiful colors showed up in the sky as the sun began to rise. I used a tripod and a slow shutter speed to create the soft dream-like water against the rocky shoreline, with the lighthouse peaking out on top of the hill.
