The Photograph’s Story:
This digital photograph was taken on a trip to Michigan in June of 2023. This is one taken of Marquette Harbor Lighthouse, on the shore of Lake Superior in Marquette, Michigan. This was the most perfect morning, a cool 55 or so degrees in late June. The sky and water were so calm and absolutely beautiful colors showed up in the sky as the sun began to rise. While taking some pictures along the shoreline, I met a local who told me about a secret path that would wind me through to the point in front of the lighthouse, and I succeeded in finding it and very thankful for her tidbit! This photo was taken at the point, looking out at Lake Superior on a gorgeous morning sunrise!
